A few months ago, Kenzie posted a photo of a red dress on Facebook that she through would be good for prom. When I saw it I immediately thought " "Dannnng that would look good in the snow." Turns out that it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined.

Kansas has had so much snow this year - pretty much snowing at least one day a week for the past few weeks - and I have made no secret that I am tired of it. The dark and gloom of snow sneaks up pretty quick after the initial beautiful blanket part. It turns to mud & muck. Ugh. But that red dress changed my mind for a little while.

Thankfully, we did this the day after a really good snowfall, and it was still untouched except for where we had footprints and tire tracks. It was 20 degrees and worth every shiver.

Another weekend, another batch of cookies. She decided to camp out by the oven to watch them this time.

We did some cookie decorating this past weekend, and let's just say that the sprinkles were a hit.
